its great you had people that would help clean it up but I personally would have told her that it was her responsibility to clean it up and if she didnt want to that it would be her responsibility to pay the fine. it isn't like she didnt know about the confetti as you already told everyone.

I would have made her clean it up and told everyone that she knew she wasn't supposed to bring any to the wedding. What she did was unacceptable, and she needed to deal with the consequences of it. Then, afterward, tell everyone to continue to have fun. She'd never do it again.
